Land Sale

The BADAS Board has been considering and negotiating offers by developers to purchase up to 40 acres of land. Currently the Board is learning the rights of BADAS, ensuring we are protected before any offers are presented to the memberships for review and voting on the sale. The BADAS Board is creating a plan for proceeds and a development plan to ensure all of our members have input into the future of this organization.

The Sale of the Land is decided by the Membership not the Board of Directors. There are many reasons why the land sale is being considered but it is important that members stay informed and that BADAS is transparent with all members and the community on the benefits, risks and drawbacks of this sale. Being a member is the best way to support this organization and have a say in the sale of some of the land or to keep 71 acres of agricultural and recreation land in Beaumont.
